What the site itself receives

Like any website, the hosting system may receive ordinary technical request information needed to deliver a page, protect the service and understand basic reliability. That can include the requested path, time of request, browser type, approximate network information and response status. The editorial pages do not expose a visitor-facing analytics account or create a profile that can be used to make a booking.

Do not send personal information through a URL, query string or attempted form submission. There is no editorial inbox behind this site and no reason to place private data into a page address.

External sources

Some articles link to public bodies for transport, heritage, weather, regulation or consumer information. Following one of those links takes you to a separate website with its own privacy practices, cookies and accessibility arrangements. A link is provided as a citation or practical source, not as an instruction to create an account or share information.

Check the destination address in your browser before entering any personal data. This is especially important when moving from general travel research to a separate accommodation or payment service. The independent guide has no relationship with those transactions and cannot see, change or recover them.

No legacy customer data

The structure of this site preserves page paths from a former website, but no customer record, guest message, testimonial submission, booking record or contact database has been restored. Historical contact details and transaction surfaces were intentionally excluded. The pages are newly written editorial material and do not provide a way to reach any former or current accommodation operator.

Editorial choices and generated images

The city images used here were generated for the restoration and then reviewed as editorial illustrations. They are not records of a particular property, guest, resident or transaction. Alt text describes the visible scene without identifying a person or private address.

Your practical choices

You may read the site without signing in. Browser controls can limit locally stored website data and clear cached files. If you follow an external link, review that destination’s notice before deciding whether to continue. For the boundaries of the guide and its no-booking status, read the use and scope notes. For a plain-language explanation of why the old contact path contains no form, see about this independent guide.

This notice describes the current static build. It does not claim to describe the data practices of the former website, any accommodation provider or any linked public source.
